David Anthony "Tony" Johnson

August 8, 1985 - December 18, 2012
 

Tony will forever be remembered as one of the most genuine, caring, and loving individuals we have ever known. Tony brought joy to the lives of so many people, both on and off of the ice. Many people have described Tony as “one of the best people I have ever known.”  We miss Tony's laugh, smile, and camaraderie every time we step on the ice. 
 

David Anthony "Tony" Johnson was born on August 8, 1985 to John and Susan Johnson. Tony grew up playing hockey in his neighborhood with friends, and later played on his high school team at Seneca Valley High School (Germantown, MD), and travel hockey for the Frederick Fury youth hockey organization. Following his hockey career, Tony joined the United States Marine Corp and served his Country proudly in Iraq in the late 2000's. Tony also enjoyed surfing, golfing, the beach, friends, and his terrific family.

Many of the OFBG family had the honor of playing with Tony for several seasons. He was a terrific teammate and friend who left a lasting legacy on everyone he met. Tony was a son, grandson, brother, friend, and a United States Marine. But to the OFBG Family he was, and always will be, a teammate.
